Helping students understand how they think — not just what to think about.
For nearly twenty years, EdYou has helped students across the Boston area with test prep and academic tutoring — SAT, GRE, GMAT, and everything in between. The work has less to do with any particular test and more to do with how learning actually works: the psychology of motivation, the mechanics of procrastination, and why certain approaches to studying succeed where others fail.
This site is home to writing about those ideas — frameworks that make the invisible machinery of learning visible and actionable, drawing on cognitive science, behavioral economics, and two decades of watching students struggle and succeed.
